About the scholarships
Abertay University in Dundee, Scotland, keeps its international funding simple: the Abertay International Scholarship pays up to £3,000 a year off your tuition fees, for up to four years, for new international undergraduate and postgraduate taught students. There is no separate application form and no separate deadline — the university assesses you for the scholarship automatically, based on your application for study. And it stacks: combined with the Principal’s Excellence Scholarship – Global it reaches £7,000 a year (£3,000 + £4,000), and combined with the Partner Excellence Scholarship it reaches £5,000 a year (£3,000 + £2,000).
Be clear about what this is: a partial tuition discount, not full funding. The “fully funded” label on aggregator pages is false, and the “up to £12,000” figure is only the four-year cumulative total of £3,000 a year, not a lump sum. A Dean’s Scholarship at £5,000 a year appears on aggregators (collegedunia, shiksha), but no official Abertay page for it was found, so it is not presented as confirmed here. If you are applying, the only thing that matters is your application for study — meet all the academic conditions of your offer, and the scholarship follows.
