About the internship
The Al Qasimi Foundation, based in Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates, runs an internship programme for students and recent graduates who want to work on the foundation’s research and community projects. Interns spend up to three months in Ras Al Khaimah, working in areas such as education, public policy, public health, urban planning and economic development — the fields the foundation itself works in — with mentorship from its staff and a certificate at the end.
The funding is real but partial. The foundation provides furnished shared accommodation, a modest living stipend, local transport and mentorship. It does not pay your airfare or your personal expenses, and the stipend amount is not published, so plan your budget on the assumption that you will need your own money for the flight and for day-to-day costs beyond the basics. The winter intake is the urgent one: it closes on 31 October 2026, six days from now.
