About the scholarship
Chang Gung University (CGU) in Taoyuan, Taiwan, runs its own scholarship for international students alongside its degree admissions: a full tuition waiver plus a monthly living package for Master’s and PhD students. It is one of the more generous university-funded awards in Taiwan because the PhD tier stacks three separate payments — a living allowance, a monthly stipend, and an advisor research assistantship.
The university has published its 2027–2028 international admission guidelines (posted 4 September 2026) with two fall rounds. Round 1 is open now and closes 17 November 2026 — 26 days from today (22 October 2026). A second round follows from 29 December 2026 to 20 February 2027.
