About the scholarship
The Émile Boutmy Scholarship is Sciences Po’s best-known award for international students, named after the founder of the Paris institution. It is awarded on academic merit to first-time applicants through the admission application itself — there is no separate scholarship form. Undergraduates can receive a total tuition-fee exemption or EUR 9,500 per year, while master’s scholars get a EUR 18,500 tuition exemption for each of the two years of the programme.
The award runs alongside admissions: master’s candidates are considered by admissions committees, and the 18 October first committee has passed — the remaining route for the 2027 master’s intake is the 29 November 2026 second committee, with results before 2 March.
