About GLOBED
GLOBED is the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Education Policies for Global Development, run by four universities: the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (coordinator), the University of Bremen, the University of Cyprus, and the University of Glasgow. Students spend four semesters across the consortium studying how education policy shapes global development. The programme has secured Erasmus+ funding for the 2023–2029 period, and its scholarship calls follow the standard Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters terms.

How the application works (from the official how-to-apply page)
- Wait for the November 2026 update: the Edition 2027–2029 call details (including the exact deadline) will be published on globed.eu in November 2026. Scholarship and self-funded calls are separate windows with separate appeal periods.
- Obtain a UAB ID number (via web01.uab.es) and select "MU Erasmus Mundus in Education Policies for Global Development" in the UAB application portal once the window opens.
- Fill in details and upload documents in the formats above, then download the confirmation document (no confirmation email is sent — keep the downloaded copy).
- Track appeals: scholarship and self-funded calls each have their own appeal periods (for Edition XI these ran late April and late May–June respectively).
