About the programme
MIPDaL — the Master of Intellectual Property Law and Data Law — is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master coordinated by Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden), Germany, with five partner universities: the University of Strasbourg/CEIPI (France), Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia), Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), the University of Exeter (UK) and Queen Mary University of London (UK). It is a one-year programme (60 ECTS) with a dual-degree structure — one degree from each of the two partner universities you study at. The 2026 cycle (scholarship deadline 15 January 2026; late applications to 15 June 2026) is closed; the 2027 intake portal opened on 1 October 2026, with the Erasmus Mundus scholarship deadline on 15 January 2027.
