About the fellowship
The IISER Berhampur Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship (PDRF) 2025–26, from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Berhampur — an Institute of National Importance — funds post-doctoral research in the Departments of Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Earth & Environmental Sciences and Computer Science. The initial award is for one year, extendable to a maximum of three years after annual performance review.
Eligibility
- Indian or foreign national.
- Below 35 years of age on the date of application.
- Hold a PhD degree in the respective field, with a good academic record.
- Research experience after the PhD as per the institute's prevailing guidelines (published listings cite five years of post-PhD experience for PDRF; thesis-submitted candidates may apply as Research Associates).

- Campus accommodation as per institute rules (HRA if unavailable).
