About the scholarship
The Tomorrow’s Leaders Program, funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and administered by FHI 360, offers fully funded undergraduate degrees to outstanding students from the Middle East and North Africa. Scholars study at two US-accredited universities in Lebanon — the American University of Beirut (AUB) and the Lebanese American University (LAU) — with the opportunity to spend one semester in the United States.
The package is genuinely comprehensive: tuition and enrollment fees (up to four academic years), health insurance, housing, visa and residency fees, textbooks and a laptop, two round trips home per year, a monthly living stipend during programme activities, internships, faculty mentorship and leadership workshops. Applications for the 2027–2028 intake opened in October 2026.
